Over 44,000 food service professionals worldwide will congregate in Chicago at McCormick Place Convention Center, May 16 through 19, starving for new products, with their checkbooks at the ready. Buyers, prospects, dealers, distributors, and prospects will again be flooding the floor in search of the next hot item.
Event exhibitors are almost always looking for that something extra for their booths. Some have found that the so called “Booth Babes” have not really helped land new accounts or leads. People don’t usually spend their company’s expense account on being photographed with pretty ladies. Where’s the return on that investment? Executives have no reason to engage someone that doesn’t add value to their time or offer solutions to benefit their company.
The American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) will be one of several tradeshows and meetings scheduled this year where exhibitors will be booking professional talent for presentations and demonstrations among other talent to enhance the attendee experience. The event known as the premier educational and scientific event of oncology will hold its conference again at McCormick Place, from May 29 through June 2, 2015.
