Standing Out at Power-Gen
Informing, educating, and displaying products and services covering industry trends, renewable energy, gas turbine technologies, fossil-fuel technologies, power plant performance, environmental issues and more, professional presenters, demonstrators, promo models, and crowd gatherers will be generating plenty of excitement and energy among the crowds of Power-Gen exhibitors.
With about 15 people on average per exhibit at the Power-Gen International 2016 show, what exhibitors need most is a way to entice crowds to each booth. Power-Gen International is the world’s largest exhibition connecting key suppliers and service providers with influential power generation industry decision makers.
This year’s event takes place December 13 – 15, 2016, at the Orange County Convention Center, in Orlando, Florida, where over 20,000 attendees will see over 1,400 exhibitors’ technologies, innovations and trends, and network with thousands of industry professionals.
How to be noticeable at Power-Gen 2016
With 7,300 people a day, or 15 people per exhibit on average, exhibitors need a way to entice crowds to the booth, and then to separate the curious from the interested from the genuinely ready-to-buy. And with so many questions to answer and the amount of available time per salesperson, experienced Power-Gen exhibitors have relied on professional models and exhibit staff to help generate more leads and secure more sales by asking qualifying questions and gathering information.
This alone can assist the sales people with addressing more precisely the benefits of specific conversation touch points and invite more interaction between the attendees and the exhibitors.
Also, presenters and demonstrators announce and describe the advantages and features that continue to improve the power industry’s tools, safety, and systems that address solutions and innovations for the future. These multi-talented professionals work with ear prompters and scripted deliveries as if part of the company, engaging visitors into message-sharing that no video or static display can, with real face-to-face interaction.
Businesses today rely on trade show models and talent because:
- At least 60% of POWER-GEN International attendees attend no other trade shows all year
- More than 50% of attendees plan to do business onsite with at least 5 exhibitors
- Over 60% of attendees either make the final decision for or recommend the purchase of products and services
- 75% of attendees say they expect to do business with a supplier while at POWER-GEN International

Putting power and punch into every exhibit
Trade show exhibitors have about four seconds to attract a visitor to their booth—the amount of time it takes for a visitor to walk past the length of the exhibit booth. Companies are using everything in their power to attract every customer, and retain their attention.
Attractive models that are well versed in trade show booth hosting give an exhibit or booth an advantage over their competition. Professional trade show models have the talent that can greatly boost every corporate image.
PPG is experienced at providing just the right Orlando models and booth staff for Power-Gen and other large trade shows and events.
